My husband and I spent last week on vacation on Cape Cod, so when we returned home, our kitchen looked pretty empty. The cabinets and refrigerator need to be stocked again in a bad way.
Even though our grocery list was fairly long this week, I was determined to stay within our weekly budget, so I meal planned, cut coupons, and looked for in-store sales. The result: our bill came in $4 under budget. Success! I’m so glad that my hard work paid off!

Save
I was a saving machine at the grocery store this week!
I took advantage of a number of in-store sales, including stocking up on Chobani yogurt. They were 10 for $10!

I bought some reduced produce, which I plan to incorporate into a meal this week.

And I cashed in a bunch of coupons, including a few for free products! Thanks, Healthy Living Summit!

My favorite peanut butter if probably Jiff:) I know it’s got stuff added but, for a classic pb&j sandwich it’s hard to beat! But I would love to try the Teddie Peanut Butter for sure!
@Emily: Ok I totally just realized that I commented on the wrong post! Oops:P That was awkward…lol
I used to be one of those people who would buy the low fat peanut butter. NOT ANY MORE! I realized that it was just replaced with sugar. My favorite brand of peanut butter is Smuckers Natural Crunchy. I eat it everyday!! Peanutbutter is my favorite food!!!
Yesterday I bought and used a “partially proofed” pizza crust from Whole Foods. It is 70% whole wheat, 30% regular wheat. The Whole Foods staff got it from their fridge in the Prepared Foods section. They told me to keep it out of the fridge for an hour, then stretch and use. It was enough for 4 individual pizzas or one large pizza, cost only $2.99, and it tasted great!
