Shop, Trade, Save: Week of July 25

This weekend, while I was out running errands, my husband did the grocery shopping. So, by the time I got home, the groceries were all put away. No big deal. I just snapped photos of our groceries in the refrigerator and freezer. That still works, right? ;)

  1. Just out of curiousity, do you regularly purchase any meat items? I’ve been married just one month now and we’re still trying to figure out our food budget. We both eat meat but not too much. I never really purchased meat to cook before being married though. I’m trying to stay within our food budget while still buying about 2 meat products a week. Any tips on reasonably priced meats and meal ideas? I would love reading a post about it! Thanks!

  2. @pam (pamcakes and eggs): Occasionally, we eat meat, but we try to limit it to one meal per week.

  4. I actually skipped this week grocery shopping! I had enough leftover, but next week will be big I’m sure! That’s so great that Mal shops and buys correct items :)
