Deal of the Week: Pillowcase Garment Cover

When storing winter coats or outfits for special occasions, I cover each item with an old (but clean) pillowcase to protect it from dust and dirt. I just cut a hole in the closed end and slip it over the hanger. Viola! :)

A pillowcase also prevents mildew from forming because moisture isn’t trapped inside, which sometimes happens with plastic covers.

  1. What a great idea! I could have used that this morning as I was shoving a silk dress into a trash bag with a hole cut out. Much nicer!

  2. Great idea! Saves all those plastic bags that we’ve been getting from the dry cleaning of my dad’s suits. Next time we’ll just bring our own pillowcase! :)
