Stock up on your favorites when they go on sale: Triscuits were on sale for 2 for $5, which is a pretty decent price. Usually, they’re $3 a box, but being on sale, we purchased two boxes– one for now and one for later. Might as well stock up at that price!

What do you consider your grocery “necessities” for the week?

I loved peaking into your cart and learning more scores! Thanks for sharing and I already took the survey:)
It is great to see the NuVal score on the Van’s GF Waffles! They are a nice, quick breakfast for me – I top with almond butter & cooked apples & cinnamon or warmed up blueberries.

Some of these trade-ups are eye opening! I can’t wait for NuVal to be in the Boston stores, sometimes it’s so time consuming to read every.single.label. in the store when you’re opting for the “best” choice.
My necessity is most definitely eggs
Some of my necessities are apples, bananas, spinach, some kind of citrus fruit (grapefruit or oranges) and of course nut butters
I have to have produce available since I eat so much of it!
Necessities are apples, baby carrots, hummus, eggs whites and other produce for me.
Hunni needs his skim milk and cereal and just eats whatever I have in the house otherwise.
Milk & eggs from my milkman. Bread, hummus, yogurt, veggies & deli items from the grocery store.
Eggs, milk, cheese, fruit, some type of bread/english muffin, greek yogurt and a veggie that is on sale.
Impressive step-up in points from Barilla to Barilla Plus!
I find it interesting that the egg whites got a really low score. I would expect it to be higher with the high protein and low fat. I wonder why that is?
My necessities are oats (there would be a crisis if I was out!), peanut butter/almond butter, bananas, apples, lettuce, broccoli, tomatoes, bread, milk, yogurt, and grapes.
Oats, spinach and bananas are my essentials!!
Chicken or turkey, bread, peanut butter, apples, yogurt, cheese, lettuce, and pasta. And, my honey/mustard salad dressing!
I’m bummed Van’s don’t have a higher NuVal score – bought the low-fat variety today.
