Tonight, my husband and I are going out for dinner at a little Mexican restaurant near our apartment. I’ve been looking forward to our dinner date all week… since last Sunday afternoon to be exact.
Just like with grocery shopping, I like to have a game plan for dining out. Instead of spending $7 on a bagel sandwich or grabbing burritos for dinner because neither my husband and I don’t want to cook dinner, I take some time each week to plan meals at home and out. That way, I can make time to buy everything that I need at the grocery store to cook dinner and pack lunches at home. And, for the meals that I plan to eat out, I can research great deals– like $1 appetizers or 2-for-1 specials. Plus, planning a dinner date with my husband makes dining out a special occasion.

We have taken advantage of many restaurant deals through Groupon – I love it!
Groupon is the best! Although I have not used it for any restaurant coupons, have received deals for spa’s and shopping – to treat myself only once in awhile of course
Thank you for mentioning that site! I was recently told about it and couldn’t remember the name, perfect timing!
Have so much fun on your date, yay!
LOVE Groupon- I get their emails every day!
I’m also a HUGE fan of Restaurant.com… you can search by zip code and get a $25 gift certificate for $3-4 if you’re savvy! Alot of the cards have guidelines/restrictions, but it’s great because you can just print them off and throw them in your purse to have on hand!!!
I just discovered Groupon and BuyWithMe – they’re great! We just got the one at Sel De La Terre, it’s a great deal!
I love this, thanks so much for sharing. So helpful!
I was very pleased to find this site.I wanted to thank you for this great read!! I have enjoyed every little bit of it and I have you bookmarked to check out new stuff you post.
With a food blog, I dine out a fair bit but what people don’t know is how often we use Groupon, BuyWithMe, Living Social or Restaurant.com. Always such great deals!
